Joel has worked in commercial real estate since 2001 as a senior manager at investment firms with more than $120B in combined assets. He has added value to real estate investments for institutional and private equity investors, with deep experience acquiring, financing, managing, leasing, developing and selling properties.
His property type experience includes multifamily, retail, office, industrial, hotel, car washes, self storage, mobile homes and land.
Prior firms include Colony Capital (merged with NorthStar), Red Mountain Group, Prudential, Olympus Real Estate Partners, Crescent Real Estate Equities and Bain & Company.
Joel is a graduate of the Business Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business. Originally from Los Angeles, he moved to Austin in 1995, to Dallas in 1999 and to Frisco in 2010, and lived and worked in Luxembourg from 2014 to 2017.
He lives in Frisco with his wife, Erin, and their two children. Joel enjoys sports and traveling with his family, investing in real estate and giving to charities, and is a member of Grace Avenue Methodist Church in Frisco.
